Felix Mendelssohn: Songs Without Words, Op. 30, #3: Adagio non troppo

I remember the ecstatic feeling when I first played one of the Felix Mendelssohn Songs Without Words. It was with my very first piano teacher, Mercedes Alleshouse, in Mansfield, Ohio. Ever since then, Mendelssohn has been one of my favorite classical composers, alongside J.S. Bach, Chopin, Liszt, Grieg, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Schubert, Beethoven, Debussy, Ravel, Khachaturian, Palestrina, Clara Schumann, Robert Schumann, Gustav Mahler, Alma Mahler, Fanny Mendelssohn, Brahms, MacDowell, Sweelinck, Haydn, Handel, Hildegard von Bingen, Chaminade, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky, Poulenc, Monteverdi, Byrd, Josquin, Saint-Saëns, de Lassus, Dufay, Caccini, Johann Christian Bach, Alkan, Scarlatti, just to name a few in no particular order.Huge thanks to Charlea Janette Bailey for her cover art, immortalizing me alongside Felix Mendelssohn :)Hope you enjoy this beautiful little piano piece.
