At an Old Trysting Place
Hello everyone,
Do you know what a trysting place is? It's a place for a meeting, especially a secret meeting of lovers. I love the romantic, nostalgic, bucolic feeling Edward Macdowell evokes in this little piano piece, called At an Old Trysting Place, from his Woodland Sketches. Hope you love it, too!
Thanks to Charlea Janette Bailey for the beautiful cover art :)
Thanks to Chip Reardin for recording me at bucolic Airtime Studios in Bloomington, Indiana.
You can listen to the whole piece and buy it at CDBaby, listen to a clip and buy the whole piece on iTunes, stream it on Spotify, or access it on most other platforms, worldwide.
At an Old Trysting Place will be on my upcoming album, Sit Bach and Relax: a collection of slow, soothing piano pieces by J.S. Bach and other classical composers. Release will be this summer: perfect time to Sit Bach and Relax :)
Cheers,
Timothy Reed
